Young at Heart Home Fitness offers multiple services for independent living and assisted living facilities, including group fitness classes, in-service presentations, and community presentations about functional fitness and balance and fall prevention. Interested in having Young at Heart at a community resource fair? Our team offers balance screenings and chair massages, along with resources about our home fitness, restorative massage, and balance and fall prevention programs.

    At Young at Heart, we love collaborating with medical and healthcare professionals that serve the aging population, helping adults and seniors get moving, stay active, and enjoy life!   • Presentations and Resource Fairs

    Young at Heart gives presentations on topics such as balance and fall prevention, active aging, and functional fitness to educate the senior population and help them stay active. We also attend health and wellness fairs to distribute resources. Upon request, our medical fitness specialists can offer balance screenings and our massage therapists offer short complementary chair massages. Group Fitness - Qigong Class

 

Qigon is a Chinese form of exercise that integrates movement, breath, and mindfulness to improve health and wellbeing. Our group fitness instructor, Alicia Kow, has been a certified Tai Chi and Qigong instructor since 2009 and has trained with well-known masters in both China and the US since 2008. Throughout the years, she has helped individuals improve their balance, release stress, and activate inner healing.
